Each week students will study the work of innovative modern and contemporary artists and then produce works inspired by them. Instructors will present age-appropriate projects to accommodate various age groups and skill levels.
June 14-18 - Introduction to Drawing : Looking at Ancient Art
June 21-25 - Introduction to Painting : Art Inspired by Poetry and Rhyme
June 28-July 2 - Introduction to 3D Design : Looking at African Sculpture
July 5-9 - Discovering the Art od the Islands : Art Inspired by Caribbean Art
July 12-16 - It Came from Outer Space : Art Inspired by Astronomy and Science
July 19-23 - Learning Animation and Claymation : Making Moving Sculptures and Drawings
August 2-6 - Art Inspired by Natural Wonders : Locally and Globally
August 9-13 - Art Inspired by Music from Different Cultures and Times
August 16-20 - Art Inspired by Ecology from Around the World.
Cost per week : $140 for MOCA Members, North Miami Residents and city employees, $165 for non-residents.
20% discount will be give for each additional child in the immediate family who is registered.
No Refunds after first day of camp.
