About Optic Nerve:
Each year the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) showcases new film and video works made by South Florida artists and filmmakers, which push boundaries and expectations.

SUMBISSION GUIDELINES:
All submissions must contain original material and have been made within the last 2 years. Films will be selected by a jury of film and art professionals and will be screened at MOCA on Saturday, August 7 at 7 PM. One of the films will be chosen to be purchased for MOCA’s permanent collection.

Entries must be submitted on DVD, no more than 5 minutes long (strictly enforced). Entries are limited to two submissions per person. A separate fee applies to each work.

Processing Fee (non- refundable/payable in check or money order to Museum of Contemporary Art):
$10 for all entries if received by June 5th (free for members)
$20 for Non-members ($10 for members if received by June 25th)

To submit your entry:
Print form and mail in with DVD and other requirements. All artists will be notified via mail if their work has or has not been selected.

Shipping:
Cost of shipping is covered by the artist and must be prepaid. Artist’s identification must be on the case and DVD. Only those submissions accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope will be returned.

Brief description of the work
Appropriate processing fee
