Children ages 6-11 build creative thinking and problem-solving skills through a fun, arts-based curriculum. Art Camp includes field trips, morning snack, lunch, and museum-based art instruction led by local art educators and experts. Fun, hands-on art activities inspired by contemporary art and artists. We split campers up by age- our younger group, Studio Art, is for kids between the ages of 6 to 8 and our older group, Dynamic Design, is for kids between the ages of 9 and 11. Our Studio Arts Camp provides a platform for campers to explore their individual artistic projects while drawing inspiration from MOCA exhibitions, fine art techniques, and renowned artists, both contemporary and historic. Engaging discussions, impressive showcases for family and friends, and hands-on projects await your young artists!
Hot lunch is free for all campers, but kids are welcome to bring lunch and snacks that do not require refrigeration. Studio Arts campers will have a morning snack around 10:00 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.
