Children ages 6-11 build creative thinking and problem-solving skills through a fun, arts-based curriculum. Art Camp includes field trips, morning snack, lunch, and museum-based art instruction led by local art educators and experts. Fun, hands-on art activities inspired by contemporary art and artists. We split campers up by age- our younger group, Studio Art, is for kids between the ages of 6 to 8 and our older group, Dynamic Design, is for kids between the ages of 9 and 11. If you are a teenager seeking opportunities in the arts, please reach out to apply to be a summer camp counselor or volunteer.

Our Studio Arts Camp provides a platform for campers to explore their individual artistic projects while drawing inspiration from MOCA exhibitions, fine art techniques, and renowned artists, both contemporary and historic. Engaging discussions, impressive showcases for family and friends, and hands-on projects await your young artists!
Hot lunch is free for all campers, but kids are welcome to bring lunch and snacks that do not require refrigeration. Studio Arts campers will have a morning snack around 10:00 a.m. and lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Discover the magic of ink through drawing, mark-making, and simple printmaking techniques. Campers will experiment with line, pattern, and texture while creating bold and expressive works of art. This week encourages playful exploration and creative storytelling through ink-based media.

Young artists will invent, build, and test imaginative creations inspired by STEAM concepts.

Inspired by urban artists and mural traditions, campers will experiment with creative mark-making while learning about street art as a form of visual expression. We’ll explore the vibrant history of graffiti and the iconic Wynwood Walls! They’ll learn about the artists who transformed this Miami landmark and create their own colorful, graffiti-inspired artworks. It’s a week of bold creativity and street art fun!

Campers will explore soft and tactile art forms using yarn, fabric, and weaving techniques that turn fibers into stunning works of art. Through playful projects, young artists will learn how to create colorful fiber-based artworks and imaginative textile creations.

Our Dynamic Design Camp introduces campers to the applied arts, including architecture, graphic design, textile design, digital art, and more. Through enriching field trips, captivating discussions, and exciting 2D and 3D projects, your child will develop a newfound appreciation for the world of design.

Explore painting as a powerful design tool for storytelling and self-expression. Campers will experiment with advanced painting techniques, color theory, and composition while creating thoughtful and imaginative works inspired by contemporary artists.
RegisterWhere creativity meets purpose! Campers will design and construct three-dimensional works that are both sculptural and functional. Using a variety of materials- including clay, wire, chip board, papier-mâché, and more- students will explore architectural concepts while building innovative and interactive designs.
RegisterCampers will dive into the art of printmaking by exploring techniques such as relief, screen printing, stamping, and layered designs. Book arts and zines will be introduced as alternative forms of art-making. Students will experiment with pattern, repetition, and visual storytelling to create bold and dynamic printed artworks.
RegisterBring imaginative worlds to life! Campers will design characters, environments, sets, and props while learning the fundamentals of stop motion animation. This collaborative week blends storytelling, design, and digital media to create short animated projects.
RegisterCampers will investigate the relationship between art and the natural world. Using organic materials, observational drawing, and eco-inspired design, students will create artworks that highlight environmental themes and creative collaboration with nature.

Through playful projects, young artists will learn how to create colorful fiber-based artworks and imaginative textile creations.
RegisterDesign with sustainability in mind! Campers will use recycled and found materials to construct innovative sculptures and mixed-media designs. This week challenges students to think creatively about reuse, transformation, and environmentally conscious art making.
