Wednesday, April 6, 7 p.m.In conjunction with MOCA North Miami’s current exhibition My Name is Maryan, MOCA Moving Images presents Ecce Homo, Maryan S. Maryan with Kenny Schneider, 1975 (1 hour 32 minutes). Included in the exhibition, Ecce Homo is one of the last works of the Polish-Jewish artist Maryan. Maryan reenacts Holocaust memories with the use of numerous accessories such as an M16 machine gun, dummies of SS officers, a straitjacket, ropes, and paint.A conversation will follow the screening.
